When did you start editing?
It was years ago (cca 2015) when I was making photo edits of LEGO Friends TV show characters.
Many years later I started to watch Criminal Minds and Doctor Who and I tried to make new things.What inspired you to start editing?
Unfortunately, most of the very first people that inspired me to edit aren't active any more.
But the ones that keep inspiring me are @timelaedy, @starrynight.aep, @nemetcns, @fezturion, @starskylock, @dcltons... and of course also other editors that are legends across whole DW fandom. People, you're editor goals for the rest of us here - you inspire us, there were people who inspired you, and people who inspired them... This is the way to keep the fandom alive. And I'm honoured to be your friend.Why did you choose Instagram?
I've been always enjoying editing but doing it just for myself felt to me a bit like a waste of time. So I thought I could share them somewhere, but I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested. One day I was determined enough to try it on Instagram, and that's when I based this account.Why right editing?
For me, the most important thing is that I do something I enjoy doing, and I can show it to the others. The joy of when someone comments something nice is amazing. I've never thought I could get to the point when that many people like the edits I make... I'm incredibly happy.
Still, it feels so insane to me that some people actually like my posts. I remember before I started editing the people I admired at that time and their particular edits formed me and my whole personality and style, and now I know some of them personally and they chat with me and like my stuff back, and it's just absolutely immaculate.What about followers count?
People often make a guess about it, but followers count is just secondary; a motivation that pushes me ahead and keeps motivating me to create more. I've never thought that so many people would like the edits I do.────────⭒────────EDITING ADVICE
What's your editing process?
I clearly don't understand what people see in my edits. I always think "oh, I could make an edit", I feel 0% creative but I do it anyway, I scroll down my screenshots until find something, I fiddle around with it, add filter & text & something on it, and that's basically it, so I don't really know. XDDo you have any editing tips for beginners?
1. When starting an editor account, observe how other more experienced editors do it (because if you're going to start unaesthetically, you're probably going yo regret later like I do lol).
2. Think about what you want to do, if you're more into photo or video edits.
3. Get yourself some good apps, watch tutorials if needed (haha I should follow my own advice as I don't watch any). Ask editors for tips.
4. Then practice, practice, practice. When you feel confident enough, start to post.
5. Only edit when you have time and inspiration, don't take it as an obligation. People don't care that much about when & how often you post. It should remain your hobby that you do for fun, don't let it stress you. :)────────⭒────────MENTAL HEALTH
How to keep going when I feel like I can't?
That's not an easy question... When I'm struggling with anxiety, it's not easy to get out of it. I know how it goes - living somehow, surviving until it all becomes overwhelming, it starts to be too much and you can't go on like that, you have to change something to get back to the normal state again...There were moments in my life when I was trying to find some reasons to keep living. I figured out my main reason for why not to hurt myself is that I consider it to be selfish. How ridiculous. I mean from the point of view of the people who stay - when you give up fighting, they have to stay while you leave them. That feels so wrong. You feel like they don't give a damn about you but that's what your depression is telling you and it's false.Other people often kind of take me as their psychologist, I assure them everything will be alright again. I say: “Bad things happen but eventually they're gone and you'll be happy, trust me. No matter how you're feeling right now, I promise it's all gonna get sorted out and it'll be fine.” And that's what I'm trying to tell myself as well, but I'm a pessimist, so all I can do is keep going and hope it will be worth it one day, as far as there are people worth living for there's a reason to keep going day to day. As David Tennant said: “It's all gonna be okay. Trust me, I'm the Doctor.”
